Chinese Shuangxi "DOUBLE HAPPINESS" Blue Decorated Lidded Porcelain Jar

A beautiful large chinese blue on white lidded jar, probably 19th century, with the Shuangxi symbol on four sides. The "double happiness mark" is usually understood to mean "wedded bliss". This decorative symbol is created by the combination of two xi (joy) characters and referred to as shuang (double) xi (joy)". The jar is unmarked.
Condition: The jar has noticeable signs of emerging iron deposits. The decoration is detailed and beautiful. There are crackle in some spots on the glaze on the inside of the jar, but not something that is visible on the outside. The jar has scuff marks in some places on the outside and age related wear and patina, but no real damage. The lid has been chipped on the rim, should be visible in the pictures. All in all, the jar is in very good condition.

RETURNS
If an item doesn't live up to your expectations, contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange for a return, and a full refund.
To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it. Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, will at best only be partially refunded (depending on the extend of the damage).
Return shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
If you are shipping an item over US$75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, for peace of mind, as we can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a week.
Late or missing refunds
If you have been notified about an approved refund, but it still hasn't shown up after 21 days, please contact us.
We also recommend in a case like that, that you contact your bank and/or credit card company, just in case there is a delay on their end due to processing times.
