Arne Bang (1901-1983) was a danish sculptur and ceramist. He was educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen under E. Utzon-Frank in 1920-25 and 1928-29. Arne Bang shared a studio with the ceramist Carl Halier, before he was hired by Holmegaard Glassworks in 1929. His stoneware production at Holmegaard and in Fensmark included animal figurines as well as a diverse selection of decorative and practical items for everyday use, in an art deco inspired style.
