ERIK REIFF Small Blue Decorated Stoneware Bowl
A small white stoneware bowl with blue decoration, designed and made by famous Danish ceramist Erik Reiff (1923-2006). Erik Reiff is best known for his work for Royal Copenhagen as well as Knabstrup Keramik and Eslau, but also had his own studio, where he produced stunning ceramics in often organic design and decoration. This bowl is from 1984. The bowl is marked with both Reiffs monogram (a flower in a square) as well as his initials, and 84. The signature is very remiscent of how he signed his Royal Copenhagen work.
Condition: The bowl is in excellent condition, with no defects of any kind.
Dimensions: The bowl is 5cm tall (approx. 2 inches) and has a diameter of 12.5cm (approx. 5 inches).
