Royal Copenhagen ERIK REIFF Celadon Glazed Stoneware Bowl
A fabulous celadon glazed stoneware bowl with abstract organic decoration on the interior, designed by famous Danish ceramist Erik Reiff (1923-2006) for Royal Copenhagen, made in Denmark in the late 1970s. This is in all likelyhood a one-of-a-kind piece of Royal Copenhagen stoneware. Erik Reiff is best known for his work for Royal Copenhagen as well as Knabstrup Keramik and Eslau, but also had his own studio, where he produced stunning ceramics in often organic design and decoration. The bowl is marked with Reiffs monogram, and the Royal Copenhagen hallmark in use from 1975 to 1979. It also has a sticker with the letter code NGT.
Condition: The bowl is in excellent condition, with no defects of any kind.
Dimensions: The bowl is 9.5cm tall (approx. 3 4/5 inches) and has a diameter of 19.5cm (approx. 7 4/5 inches).
