Royal Copenhagen ERIK REIFF Unique Wines and Leaves Decorated Stoneware Bowl
A wonderful wines and leaves decorated stoneware bowl, designed by famous Danish ceramist Erik Reiff (1923-2006) for Royal Copenhagen, made in Denmark in the 1970s. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of Royal Copenhagen stoneware (it usually is when the artist signature is in underglaze blue). Erik Reiff is best known for his work for Royal Copenhagen as well as Knabstrup Keramik and Eslau, but also had his own studio, where he produced stunning ceramics in often organic design and decoration. The bowl is marked with Reiffs monogram, and Royal Copenhagen's 3 wavy lines.
Condition: The bowl is in excellent condition, with no defects of any kind.
Dimensions: The bowl is 7.5cm tall (approx. 3 inches) and has a diameter of 13.5cm (approx. 5 2/5 inches).
